Mexican Wedding Ring Cookies


Mexican Wedding Ring Cookies

1 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 teaspoons water
2 cups flour
1 cup pecans, chopped
1/2 cup confectioners sugar

In a medium bowl, cream the butter and sugar.  Stir in the vanilla and water.  Add the flour and nuts until well mixed.  Can chill at this point to bake later or make the cookies now.

Heat oven to 325 F.  Bake 15 to 20 minutes.  When cookies come from the oven, give time to cool and then dust with confectioners sugar.
