Flakey Baking Powder Biscuits
These are the flakiest biscuits I have ever made. I will print the recipe to make 4 and 8 biscuits. If you want a larger number of biscuits multiply the recipe to meet your need.
Ingredients: For 4 biscuits For 8 biscuits
Flour 3/4 cup 1 1/2 cup
Baking powder 1 1/2 teaspoon 1 tablespoon
sugar 1/2 teaspoon 1 teaspoon

Directions:
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Gently stir in heavy cream until a very shaggy dough forms. Sprinkle the counter with 1 tablespoons flour, then turn the mixture out onto the counter and briefly knead into a ball. Press the mixture into a 1 inch thick disk, wrap with plastic wrap and place in freezer to chill.
Form the biscuits: Remove the biscuit dough from the freezer and place on a lightly floured surface. Lightly press into a 3/4" thick square. Cut into 4 quarters or 8 . Bake at 450 10 to 15 minutes.
