Bread Sticks

Bread Sticks
3 cups flour
1 tablespoon sugar
1 1/2 tablespoon Basil
1 1/2 tablespoon parsley 
1 1/2 tablespoons oregano
2 tablespoons Rapid Rise Yeast
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup very warm water
3 tablespoons olive oil

White of 1 egg, beaten with fork.

Directions:
Place the dry ingredients into the mixer bowl.  With the paddle attachment, mix dry ingredients until herbs and dry ingredients are well mixed.   Add warm water and olive oil and pour into dry ingredients.  Mix until a ball forms, about 4 minutes.  Remove from bowl and knead lightly.  Shape into a ball.  Cut into halves, then quarters and then quarters again until you have 16 pieces of dough.  Shape each piece into a ball abad then with the palm of you hand roll into a length about 1" in diameter.  

After the bread sticks have risen for 20 to 30 minutes, brush with beaten egg white and sprinkle with salt.

Bake at 350 until golden, about 15 minutes.
