White Sangria


White Sangria
This recipe comes from the menu of La Grande Orange Cafe in Pasadena CA. With the warm weather season approaching this recipe is great to enjoy with guests on the patio.

2 (750ml) bottles white wine, preferably Pinot Grigio
1 1/3 cups orange juice
1/2 cup triple sec
1/4 cup brandy
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 oranges sliced
1/2 lemon sliced
1/2 apple sliced
1 bunch grapes stemmed

In a large pitcher place the wine, orange juice, triple sec and brandy in pitcher, stir to mix. Add sugar and vanilla and stir until sugar is dissolved. Add sliced fruit and grapes and ice. Stir and serve. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
