Pecan Pie

Pecan Pie
This is my all time go to recipe for a Pecan Pie
Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 cup light corn syrup
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 eggs
1 cup pecans
1  recipe Plain Pastry

Directions:
Cream butter and sugar; add syrup, beat well.  Beat in eggs, one at a time; add pecans.

Pour into 9 inch pastry lined pie pan.  Bake in moderate oven 350* 1 hour and 10 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
