MG Classic Cars
Thursday evening following a concert in the Park, my husband and I went to the Pier to watch the sun set. This is always such a beautiful sight to watch that huge red star sink into the horizon. We were attracted to the display of classic MG cars. We learned that a group of one hundred-forty owners were meeting at a nearby resort for a reunion or convention. It was unknown if there was an organized club. We saw cars bearing license plates from many Midwest states as well as southern states. We viewed cars from 1934 through the 1970's and all in original or restored condition. One could quickly observe, those were the days of no plastic bumpers or trim.
