Figs Foster
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon butter
4 figs, stems removed and cut into halves.
Dash cinnamon
2 tablespoons rum
1 large scoop vanilla ice cream
Directions:
Melt brown sugar and butter in flat teflon skillet. Add figs cut side down and sauté till tender. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Pour in Rum over all and baste with warm liquid. To flambe, ignite warm liquid and spoon sauce over figs until flames burns out. Serve immediately over ice cream. 1 serving.
