Ingredients:
3-10oz. pkgs chopped spinach
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 cup half + half
1/3 cup bread crumbs
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup bread crumbs
Directions:
Butter 1 1/2 quart shallow baking dish.
Cook spinach and drain well.
Melt butter and sauté onion till tender. Combine spinach, butter, sautéed onion, 1 cup half and half, 1/3 cup bread crumbs, chopped pecans, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
Mix 2 tablespoons butter and 1/4 cup bread crumbs, sprinkle over casserole.
Bake at 350F. 30 minutes or until brown.
