Filet Mignon Steaks

Filet Mignon Steaks
Ingredients:
Serves 6.
2 T. mayonnaise or as needed 
1 tsp. Dijon mustard
Pinch cayenne pepper
1/4 cup panko crumbs

6 (6 to 8 oz.) filet mignon steaks (1 inch thick)
1 1/2 tsp. dried thyme
Sea salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Heat oil in a large heavy skillet over medium-high heat until very hot. Sprinkle steaks with salt and pepper and add to skillet and brown well, 4 minutes per side
