Living in San Diego, it is necessary to utilize the short window of time to make soup when the weather is "cold". This is a recipe from a classmate of my daughter who was taught to cook by a southern style mother.
You can adjust how ever you want were the directions.
Ingredients:
2.5 lbs ground chuck
2 small cans of rotel, I used 1 hot 1 mild
1 can kidney beans
2 cans black beans
Sweet corn, 1 small bag frozen

1 quart canned whole tomatoes.
I fry my hamburger with
onions,
green peppers and
garlic
Garnish soup with:
Sour cream
Shredded cheese

Just put it together like your making chili
Then add 2 packages of taco seasoning
When ready I put in a bowl top it w sour cream, shredded cheese fresh cilantro if I have it. And or green onions and tortillas chips or fritos..hope u enjoy
