Fruit Cobbler

Fruit Cobbler
1 stick butter or margarine
1 cup milk
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
Dash of salt
1 quart unsweetened fruit, peaches, cherries, blackberries

Melt butter or margarine in baking dish.  Combine the dry ingredients and mix in the milk.  Pour in the dish.  Scatter fruit over the mixture.  The crust will bake to the top and absorb the flavor of the fruit. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.  Serve topped with whipped cream or ice cream.
