I may be late to the game but I put 5 cans of sweetened condensed milk in my instant pot yesterday for 40 minutes (removed the labels and glue, then covered with water) and used it as caramel icing for this cake! Game changer!!
Make sure you stick the cans in a bowl of cold water to cool them down before opening them. I let ours sit for about 30 minutes in the bowl.
