Macadamia White Chip Cookies


Macadamia White Chip Cookies 
Ingredients:
1 cup butter
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar, packed
2 eggs room temperature 
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups unsifted flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
*2 cups Ghiradelli White Baking Chips
*1 1/2 cup Macadamia Nuts, chopped

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350*F.  

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.  Add vanilla and eggs, one at a time and beat well.  Blend in flour, baking soda, and salt.  Stir in white baking chips and macadamia nuts.  

*My suggestion is to add just 1 cup of white baking chips and 3/4 cup macadamia nuts.  

Drop by rounded teaspoon onto uncreased cookie sheets.  Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.  Remove and completely cool on wire rack.  Do not overbake the cookies.  They become very hard!

Yield: 4 1/2 dozen.
