Asparagus Soup

Asparagus Soup
The easiest soup you will ever make and sooo delicious. The measurements are decided by the amount of soup you prefer to make.
Ingredients:
Onion
Garlic
Asparagus
Salt & Pepper
Garnish: Crispy Fried Onions, Yogurt,  Sour Cream, Splash Olive Oil,  
    or Parmesan Cheese.
Directions:
Remove woody portion of asparagus stem: cut into 1" to 2" inch lengths.  Cook asparagus just to el dente, saving the water.  Place the asparagus in a blender and cover with cooking water.  Save remaining water.

Sauté onion: when transparent add sliced or chopped garlic and cook for one minute.  Add to blender with asparagus and enough cooking water which will be the broth of the soup.  Blend the ingredient to make a smooth soup.  If soup is too thick, add enough of the cooking water in small portions to thin the soup.  Season to taste.

Garnish for presentation.
