Sweet & Spicy Dumpling Sauce
This is a favorite sauce to eat with fried dumplings or shrimp rolls. It’s inspired by a classic Thai sauce served with fried chicken, and by Chinese-American sweet chili sauces.
Ingredients:Stir together:
1/4 cup (60 mL) agave syrup
2 tsp (10 mL) chili garlic sauce and
2 tsp (10 mL) seasoned rice vinegar.
Season to taste with salt.
Makes about 1/3 cup (80 mL)
