Pets de Soeur
I’ve always been a little intrigued (who wouldn’t be, right?) with a name like pets de soeur, which means "farts of holy sisters".It is a simple and quick cookie to make and is great year around.
Ingredients:
1 recipe Pastry dough
Filling:
Brown sugar
Cinnamon
Coconut
Chopped nuts
Currants
Directions:
Roll pastry dough to a normal pie thickness. Spread brown sugar on dough, add choice of filling and spread evenly. Roll tightly, slice in rounds, 3/8" to 1/2" wide. Place on parchment paper and bake at 350*F for 10 to 12 minutes or until the cookies have a golden hue.
