Today the counter for my recipe or journal posts searches reached 800,017 which I never could have imagined.  I began the blog to post favorites of our children from their days when they were younger living at home.  Those posts were called Flash Back Friday.  My continued interest in food and recipes escalated.  I posted recipes and journaled photos of family event which for privacy and security I no longer do.

You may have read how the blog began.  If not I will share again.  It was the eve of Mothers Day 2007.  Our youngest daughter came to visit both her sister and of course me.  I brought an appetizer and a bottle of Chardonnay wine to my daughter's home.  The Camembert Cheese with Mushroom Ragu recipe and the wine was as far as we got with dinner plans that evening.  

Our youngest daughter suggested I should have a food blog and call it "Dine With Donna".  Almost nineteen years later I have a following which today marked 800,017 searches.
