Classic Raisin Oatmeal Cookies
Is there anything better than a soft, thick, and chewy cookie? I’ve always been a huge fan of oatmeal cookies because there’s so many different things you can mix into them and they’re always delicious.
Ingredients:3/4 cup softened butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup milk
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 cups quick or old-fashioned oats
1 cup Sun-Maid Sun-Dried Raisins
1 cup coarsely chopped nuts (optional)
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 cups quick or old-fashioned oats

1 cup coarsely chopped nuts (optional)
Directions:
Heat oven to 350° F.Beat butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, milk, egg and vanilla until light and fluffy.
Combine flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt.
Add to butter mixture and mix well.
Stir in oats, raisins and nuts, if using.

Drop by tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
Bake 12 to 15 minutes. (Don't over-bake.) Remove from cookie sheets. Cool on wire racks.
