Calzones
Calzones are stuffed pizza dough, stuffed with the freshest ingredients and served on a bed of pizza sauce if you wish. Calzones are like a sandwich. You stuff them with the filling of your choice. I will give two suggestions:
Calzone #1, Ricotta and mozzarella cheese, marinara sauce, Canadian Bacon, mushrooms, and spinach.
Calzone #2 Ricotta and Mozzarella cheese, marinara sauce, spinach, green bell peppers, mushrooms, and black olives.
To make the pizza dough, do a search on the blog for "Perfect Pizza Crust" which is a King Arthur recipe. Follow the directions to make the crust or purchase a refrigerated crust.
